Please consider this once in a lifetime opportunity with WorldTeach Namibia set to begin in early January 2016. The Ministry of Education in Namibia and the Kristin Linnea Skvarla Foundation are proud to announce a new, lowered pricing structure to our WorldTeach Namibia program with additional scholarships available to our volunteers. Teach English, math, science, computer technology or health education in mostly rural placements. Housing is provided by the local school or with a host family.
Included in the volunteer fee are the following:
Housing (teacher apartment or host family) Monthly stipend Visa sponsorship Health & emergency evacuation insurance Month long in-country orientation focused on teacher training, language and cultural immersion, health and safety briefing Mid-Service Training Conference, and End of Service Conference Meals and housing during orientation and conferences Transportation between training and placement sites Support from full time, in-country Field Director Professional development through Teacher Quality Program, including mentorship by remote Teacher Quality Coordinator
